Buckleys’ T-Handle test probes provide a convenient and effective method of measuring AC current densities on buried steel pipelines. The robust design and construction enables it to be repositioned and re-used frequently.

AC voltage measurements give an initial indication of AC levels on buried steel pipelines, but current density must be measured to assess the risk of AC corrosion. The T-Handle probe makes this measurement quick and simple.

The T-Handle probe can be used with a variety of tips of a specified surface area which – when installed near pipe depth and connected to the pipeline via a CP test post – allows the user to measure current density levels.

The T-handle design makes placement and removal a quick and simple process while the outer PVC coating provides excellent insulation to ensure reliable results. A simple spade connector at the end of the handle provides a test post connection point.
